The Custom Process

I create custom jewellery to suit your lifestyle, budget and vision. I work with you to bring your ideas & stories to the forefront to create a piece that feels just right.

I work to ensure that the process is seamless by guiding you through each step. While every project is different, the stages below are a good place to start.

Let’s begin.

It starts with a conversation. Let’s talk about you. What brings you here today, and what is your vision? We’ll talk about your timeline, budget, and dreams for your piece, and come away with a plan for what comes next.

You can connect with me through email or the contact form on my web portal. I am also happy to connect with clients by phone: whichever works best for you.

If you choose to move forward, I gently ask for a $150 deposit. This amount contributes towards the price of the final piece, and covers my time in dreaming up beautiful designs for you to approve in the next stage.

Design

Unsure if you’d prefer a textured finish or something shiny? I’ve taken your favourite ideas and created a few options in the form of digital renders or a concrete visual. We will review, make modifications, choose a final design - and only move forward when you're in love!

When the details your piece are firm, I will draw up a quote, and gently ask that you pay 50% less the deposit before I move forward to production.

Production

In the space between this stage and the last, I’ve been working with my hands and heart to make your piece exactly to your vision.

I use a variety of methods to create my work, from casting, hand forging, to setting my own stones.

Any changes after the deposit is received which will require reworking of the piece may result in a delay of delivery, and will be done at the client’s expense. I encourage clients to reach out with questions at any time during the process so that I can keep them up to date, and to make the process as seamless as possible!

Delivery time will vary depending on the methods used and the particular love I feel is needed by your piece. Generally, a piece is ready for delivery after 12-18 weeks. Payment is due in full before I send the finished item to your waiting hands.

These are strange and unprecedented times for the mail service here in Canada and abroad; please allow additional time for shipping. Your patience is appreciated.
